Terre di Sacra is in Capalbio, on the Tuscan Maremma coast, in a unique natural setting that is home to the historic WWF Lake Burano Oasis, the first to be established in Italy. The estate spans 1,000 hectares along 12 km of coastline. It is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes from Rome Fiumicino Airport and 40 minutes from Grosseto private airport.

Villas are the largest and most prestigious option, with 6-7 bedrooms, private gardens and heatable pools. Cottages have 4-5 bedrooms, small cottages 2-3 bedrooms. All houses have private beach access and are surrounded by greenery. The glamping, at the Terre di Sacra Resort & Glamping, offers safari-inspired lodges and tents steps from the beach.

Guided excursions in the WWF Oasis and visits to Lake Burano, tours of the Maremma cattle farm, e-biking, water sports, horseback rides on the beach, boat trips and cooking classes. Nearby, the village of Capalbio, the Tarot Garden, the Tufa Towns, the Saturnia hot springs and the land art installations of Hypermaremma are all worth a visit. Terre di Sacra is ideal for families with children: villas and cottages have spacious gardens and beach access, while the Resort & Glamping offers accommodation immersed in nature, perfect for an outdoor stay, and from 2026 a new children’s garden. The beach has safe shallows and the Dogana Beach Club provides a playground, beach service and two restaurants. The WWF Oasis also organises nature excursions and workshops for children, alongside the activities and experiences arranged by our concierge such as visits to the Maremma cattle farm, tennis lessons, sailing, horse riding and much more.
