Cottage della Lunaria: a holiday in nature in Capalbio
Cottage della Lunaria is set in the greenery of Terre di Sacra, in Capalbio, on the edge of the Lake Burano Nature Reserve. Beyond the garden, the estate’s fields open up, then the dunes and the Tuscan Maremma beach: a private path of around 800 metres, entirely within Terre di Sacra, leads directly to the sea.
The house spans two floors. On the ground floor, a spacious living room with dining area and kitchen; on the first floor, three bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. Outside, a laundry room and, in the garden, a dépendance with bedroom, bathroom and wardrobe, ideal for guests or older children seeking greater independence. All bedrooms are air-conditioned.
The two outdoor patios are the heart of the home: spaces to be enjoyed from breakfast to dinner after sunset, immersed in the quiet of nature, watching the birds that find shelter in the reserve.

Steps from the sea
The beach is reached via a private country road, on foot, by bicycle or by golf cart, easy even with small children. Five minutes by car, Macchiatonda beach with beach clubs and a free beach. Or the Dogana Beach Club with bar, restaurant and beach service.

Within the WWF Burano Oasis
Italy’s first WWF Oasis, protected since 1967. The visitor centre is five minutes from the cottage, with guided excursions for adults and children. Many animal species inhabit the reserve and some can be spotted right in the cottage garden. The flora is equally remarkable: centuries-old trees, rare species and a unique ecosystem between lake, dunes and sea.
