A charming Tuscan holiday at Villa della Sughera

Villa della Sughera is one of the most refined villas at Terre di Sacra in Capalbio, on the Tuscan Maremma coast. Renovated with wrought-iron furnishings, bright spaces, a 5,000 sqm garden, a 25-metre heatable pool and direct access to the unspoilt beach.

The main house spans three floors: kitchen, dining room, spacious living room, study and a service bedroom on the ground floor. Four en-suite bedrooms on the first floor, one bedroom with bathroom and dressing room in the attic. Air-conditioned sleeping area. Two separate dépendances: the first with bedroom and bathroom, the second with TV room, bedroom, bathroom and wardrobe.

Every comfort

The villa is sheltered by large cork oak trees, in a 5,000 sqm garden overlooking cultivated fields that stretch to the Mediterranean dune reaching the sea. An electric golf car is available to reach the beach in just a few minutes. The fully equipped beach clubs of Dogana and Macchiatonda are a short distance away and reachable by car. Kitchen, bathrooms and common areas fitted with every comfort.

Countryside, lagoon and sea

Villa della Sughera sits where two landscapes meet: the Maremma countryside and the Capalbio coast. Just minutes away, fresh produce from local farmers and fishermen. Our concierge can advise and arrange every experience in the area. The true luxury here is leaving your phone in the room and waking up to birdsong.

Frequently asked questions

Villas, Mini Villas and Piccolo Cottage del Lupino have direct beach access via a private path starting from each house’s garden, on foot, by bicycle or with the electric golf car. Cottages and Residences reach the sea via a private road reserved for Terre di Sacra guests, running along Lake Burano, on foot, by bicycle or by car. The fully equipped beaches of Macchiatonda and the Dogana Beach Club are also just a few kilometres away.

The rental includes cleaning on arrival and departure, daily cleaning service for stays of up to three months, essential kitchen and bathroom supplies, fibre Wi-fi, waste collection, cleaning and maintenance of the stretch of shoreline in front of the property, security service during the summer months and private parking.

For stays of up to two weeks, utilities are also included, with the exception of heating during the winter months.

All Villa and Cottage guests also have access to the Clubhouse, pool and sports courts at the Terre di Sacra Resort & Glamping. The concierge is available to arrange excursions, experiences, catering and additional services on request, including massages, yoga sessions, a private chef and extra housekeeping.
