A holiday in nature at Villa della Vite, Capalbio

One of the most loved villas at Terre di Sacra in Capalbio, Villa della Vite owes its name to the Virginia creeper that covers it almost entirely: shielding it from the heat in summer and turning it red and gold in autumn. A home in perfect balance between the Maremma countryside and the sea.

The villa comprises a main farmhouse on three floors and two dépendances. Ground floor: kitchen, dining room with a large convivial table, living room, study, bathroom, laundry and service bedroom. First floor: four bedrooms with bathrooms and wardrobes. Attic: one bedroom with bathroom and dressing room. Air-conditioned sleeping area. The first dépendance, recently furnished, has a TV room, double bedroom, bathroom and wardrobe. The second, smaller, a bedroom with dressing room and bathroom. A 25-metre heatable pool reserved for villa guests.

Private beach access

Capalbio beach is reached via a private country road directly from the garden, with an electric golf car available. The fully equipped beaches of Macchiatonda and Dogana are just a few kilometres away. Just minutes from the villa: the Tarot Garden, Lake Burano, the village of Capalbio and the coves of the Argentario. Ideal for families with children looking for space, nature and every comfort of a seaside holiday in Maremma.

Even more beautiful off season

In spring the white jasmine on the patio blooms – the perfect moment for outdoor lunches and dinners among the flowers and the first leaves. Until November the Virginia creeper transforms the villa’s walls into a spectacle of red, crimson and gold. The mild days, golden light and silence of the Burano Oasis make Villa della Vite a perfect destination in every season.

Villas, Mini Villas and Piccolo Cottage del Lupino have direct beach access via a private path starting from each house’s garden, on foot, by bicycle or with the electric golf car. Cottages and Residences reach the sea via a private road reserved for Terre di Sacra guests, running along Lake Burano, on foot, by bicycle or by car. The fully equipped beaches of Macchiatonda and the Dogana Beach Club are also just a few kilometres away.

The rental includes cleaning on arrival and departure, daily cleaning service for stays of up to three months, essential kitchen and bathroom supplies, fibre Wi-fi, waste collection, cleaning and maintenance of the stretch of shoreline in front of the property, security service during the summer months and private parking.

For stays of up to two weeks, utilities are also included, with the exception of heating during the winter months.

All Villa and Cottage guests also have access to the Clubhouse, pool and sports courts at the Terre di Sacra Resort & Glamping. The concierge is available to arrange excursions, experiences, catering and additional services on request, including massages, yoga sessions, a private chef and extra housekeeping.
